If you've just bought a brand new TP-Link router, setting it up and configuring it is a simple. There is no need to worry about how to set up your new WP-Link Wi-Fi router.
The router must be connected to an active modem or data port in order to access the internet.
- To get your new TP-Link router up and running, follow this guide.
- Use an Ethernet wire to connect your PC to the router.
- Open a web browser and type 192.168.0.1 or www.tp-link.com into the address bar to get started.
- Enter the new password twice to access your router. As a general rule, "admin" is preferred.
- Please log in by clicking on the Let's Start button.
- Using the Quick Setup option, just follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Internet and wireless network.
- Set a password to secure your Wi-Fi network and provide the name (SSID) of your network there.
- Now that you've completed the setup, you may use your password to connect to the wireless network using the SSID.
